How does it work?
Buying crypto through the Celsius app is available thanks to our integration with Simplex. While we’re working on adding a bank wire option to buy coins, users have the option to buy crypto with a credit card at the lowest rates in the industry. There are currently 7 leading cryptocurrencies available to purchase through the Celsius app including BTC, ETH, XRP, BCH, LTC, XLM, and SGA. Any coins you buy will be directly deposited into your Celsius account and immediately available to earn interest or use as collateral to get a crypto-backed loan.
Follow the step-by-step instructions below to buy crypto through the Celsius app and put your crypto to work today!
1. From the home screen of your Celsius app, select the “Wallet” icon
In the wallet section of your Celsius app, select the blue “Buy Coins” button under your total wallet balance to start the purchasing process.
2. Buy crypto with a credit card
The option to buy crypto through a bank wire is coming soon to the Celsius app, and in the meantime, you can buy crypto easily with a credit card at the best rates in the industry!
3. Choose your fiat and choose your coin
You can buy crypto with a variety of currencies through the celsius app including USD, EUR, YEN, GBP, and 15+ other fiat options. Users can also choose from 7 leading cryptocurrency coins to purchase including BTC, ETH, XRP, BCH, LTC, XLM, and SGA.
4. Enter the amount
Enter the amount of crypto you want to buy and the Celsius app will provide you with the right fiat conversion amount accurate to the time of purchase. When you’re ready to purchase, select the “Buy Coins” button.
5. Confirm your purchase details
Review your transaction details fully and select “Confirm & Buy” to complete your crypto purchase.
6. Enter payment information
Once you’ve confirmed your purchase, you will be taken to the payment page to available through Simplex to complete your order.
7. Unbank Yourself
Your coins will be deposited directly into your Celsius wallet! HODL and earn up to 9.9% APY paid out weekly, or use your coins as collateral to get a USD or stablecoin loan for as low as 3.46% APR.
